We convey Calvary greeting to you in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our attention has just been drawn to the establishment of a new Church called Orthodox Anglican Church in Lagos. For the avoidance of confusion and truth distortion in any form, let us quickly you with the following on the said Church:
1. Orthodox Anglican Church is not the same body as Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion)
2. Diocese of Lagos West is not in Communion with the said Church, in doctrine and tradition.
3. All Clergy of the Diocese of Lagos West are forbidden from officiate or taking part in any service or program of Orthodox Anglican Church, at anytime and anywhere.
4. No Bishop, Clergy or member of the said Church is allowed to officiate or participate in any service or program of the Diocese of Lagos West, under any disguise.
Ensure this directive is shared with all parishioners of Diocese of Lagos West immediately. No one should claim the ignorance of this important information. Any form of non-compliance will attract strict sanction in accordance with the provisions in the Diocese.
Any association with the new body should be avoided. He that has ear let him hear.
