The Anglican Bishop of the Diocese of Lagos West of the Anglican Communion, The Rt Rev Olusola Odedeji has urged Anglicans in the Agege Archdeaconries of the Diocese to remain steadfast and hold to the profession of their faith. He made the plea during his Episcopal visit Agege archdeaconries recently.
He was accompanied on the visit by his wife, Dr. (Mrs.) Lydia Olukemi Odedeji, the Dean of the Cathedral, Venerable. Ebenezer Adewole, the host Archdeacon, The Venerable Tunde Owoyele , other senior clergymen and the media crew. He was warmly welcome by the parishioners of the Archdeaconry with dancing and drumming.
Bishop Odedeji during the visit commended the unwavering faith of church members in the areas while also urging them to remain steadfast and not be swayed by the challenges the enemy may throw at them.
He praised their resilience in the face of infrastructural challenges and poor road networks around the Lagos-Ogun border axis.
The Anglican Bishop visited about 13 parishes in the Agege Archdeaconry. They include St Paul’s Anglican Church Sango, Agege, Anglican Church Of Pentecost, Oke-Ira, Holy Trinity Anglican Cuhrch, Aguda, St Andrews Anglican Church, Ifako
