VEN & MRS ABEL AJIBODU IS INSTALLED AS DEAN OF AVMCC, IKEJA

It was a memorable day for the worshippers of Archbishop Vining Memorial Church Cathedral, GRA Ikeja as the 4th Dean of the great Cathedral was installed. The Ven and Mrs Abel Oluyemi Ajibodu were officially instituted, inducted and installed as Dean on Sunday February 2, 2014 in a service that witnessed 14 Bishops including Archbishop, dignitaries across the nation and of the Diocese of Lagos West. The whole auditorium was packed full with an overflow outside. The Rt Revd James Olusola Odedeji, the Bishop of Lagos West who was the Dean until his election, consecration and enthronement as the Bishop of Lagos West a year ago performed the Episcopal right of the installation.

During his chat with the media men, Ven Ajibodu appreciated the God Almighty for putting him in this exalted position in the largest Church of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) and appreciated the Lord Bishop of the Diocese of Lagos West, the Rt Revd James Olusola Odedeji for the trust he had in him for the appointment in the midst of so many clergy. He said he would preach the whole truth of the Gospel in the Cathedral and that he desired to make a difference and impact in the life of every member of the Cathedral. The new Dean also promised to be as Timothy to Paul to the Bishop of Lagos West in his loyalty.
