A call has gone to Nigerians not to be crestfallen and disappointed about current electoral process, but to be hopeful and resolute, that all will be well.
This call was made by the Bishop of the Diocese of Lagos West, the Rt. Revd. Dr. James Olusola Odedeji after exercising his franchise to elect the Lagos State Governor, and members of the State's House of Assembly on Saturday 18th March, 2023 in his Polling Unit situated in the premises of Ikeja Grammar School, GRA, Ikeja.
The Diocesan went further to attribute the low turnout of electorates to the outcome of the Presidential Election and safety.
The Lord Bishop was accompanied to the polling unit by Mama Lagos West, Dr. Mrs. Lydia Olukemi Odedeji, the Dean of the Cathedral, Ven. Ebenezer Adewole, his wife, Ven. Gbenga Oniye, Chairman, Election Observation Committee and members of the Diocesan Media Team.
