Have you ever thought of the awesome nature of God and His ability to do the unimaginable? Our heavenly Father is always on time and has never shown up late in any situation. Oftentimes, we try to figure out how and when God is going to answer a prayer or fulfill His promises. By nature, God is calmly and powerfully working out His plans behind the scenes in ways and reasons that we cannot comprehend. Always remember that whatever God does and how He does it is not your concern. He does all for the glorification of His Name (2 Thessalonians 1:12). God’s motive may elude us, and His methods may surprise us, but He will always fulfill His promises. He is unstoppable by any power, group, or force. Paul stated in 1 Corinthians 1:25 that “The foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.” Hebrews 11 listed some Old Testament saints who realized that God fulfilled His promises according to His timetable and template. These people lived by faith, believing that God would eventually do all He said. Abraham and Sarah are the foremost examples. The Lord told them they would have a child, yet He waited until their old age before He fulfilled the promise, He did not allow their enemy to have the last laugh. God showed up for them and He did that at the right time. God’s power is so great and He will always fulfill His promises in our lives even when there appears to be a delay. We serve a persistent and undisputable God, never shift your gaze from Him, He will answer in due course. When you wait on God, your victory is assured.
