It is a joyful thing to know that this year ends today, and we’re alive and in Christ. When the year began, to some people it was a favourable one, to others, it was rough and tough, many were worrying, about how to cope with house rent this year again, school bills etc. As the year progressed, many things began to unfold, some lost their job, and loved ones, sickness set in, businesses crumbling, and all manner of life-threatening situations. You prayed and banged on heaven’s door and there was no immediate answer, it seemed the problems were associated with the year and the year isn’t going to end. In all of these let your song be: Come bless the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord. Who stand by night in the house of the Lord. Lift up your hands, in the Holy Place. And bless the Lord, and bless the Lord. Our text confirms that everything on earth has a time and season, hence whatever had a beginning, surely, there is an end. And that includes every year, all your troubles, human life, and the world Revelation 21:4, Matthew 24:14. As this year ends today, same way, let every evil manipulation, affliction and manifestation in your life, family and endeavour also come to an end, in the name of Jesus Christ. May the Almighty God Who is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, through the ministry of the Holy Spirit bring to an end every sinful addiction, pain, limitation and suffering, and make your joy full. As this year comes to an end your expectations shall not be cut off as we move into the new year. Revelation 21:5-6.
