A new DLW Medical Centre is underway, following the demolition of the former facility at Agege to give way to the standard-gauge railway line being constructed by the Federal Government.
The bishop, the Rt. Rev. Dr. Odedeji gave the hint at a pre-Synod interview with the editorial team for Synod News on Wednesday.
He disclosed that work on the project would start immediately after the synod.
As a temporary measure, the parish clinics at Bola Memorial Anglican Church, Abule Onigbagbo, All Saints’ Anglican Church, Ikosi and Archbishop Vining Memorial Church Cathedral are currently in use.
The new hospital, which the Bishop says should be ready before the 2020 Synod, would have no fewer than 30 beds and is for the care of priests and their families, parishioners, as well as the community around us.
